In 2024, it's been 15 years since Zwart Licht released their groundbreaking debut album Bliksemschicht. On May 21, that lightning strikes again together with support act MAIN this time at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam. Are you ready for impact?

Bliksemschicht marked the arrival of Zwart Licht. The trio of Akwasi, Leeroy, and Hayzee with a debut that was poetic, powerful, and provocative. Packed with high-level lyricism and revolutionary production, the album set a new standard in Dutch hip-hop.

Celebrated by critics and embraced by fans, Bliksemschicht is widely regarded as a cultural milestone — an album that elevated the genre and carved out a lasting legacy.

This concert has been moved from December 4 to May 21. Ticket holders have been notified. This is Zwart Licht message:

We have made a difficult, but also very exciting choice: we are going to move our 15-year Bliksemschicht tour. So much is happening around us right now, and it has greatly inspired us. That’s why we are diving back into the studio to create new music. ⚡ We want to not only give you a strong live show soon but also let you hear new tracks that really reflect the present, based on what's happening in the world and within ourselves, alongside nostalgia and the classics.

Additionally, we want to ensure that we present the best possible show. By moving the tour, we get the chance to sharpen everything even more and give you an experience you won't quickly forget.

Good news: the tickets already sold will remain valid for the new dates! 🎫 So you don’t need to take any action – your spot is reserved. We understand it can be disappointing to wait a little longer, but we promise it will be worth it. New music is coming, and we can't wait to share this with you.

MAIN takes the stage at LantarenVenster as the support act for Zwart Licht, bringing his latest project LEEF:TIJD a personal, raw, and musical journey through fatherhood, coming of age, and life in the city.

Jermaine Berkhoudt, known as MAIN, is no stranger to the Rotterdam music scene. As a rapper, vocalist, and performer, he made his mark with acts like VanIeder1, Funky Organizers, and MCJR & Th’Acquisition the latter earning him the Sena Grote Prijs van Rotterdam in 2017. After a period of growth, life, and reflection, he returns with a new sound, fresh energy, and a powerful story to tell.

His recently released LEEF:TIJD EP sets the tone for the upcoming full-length LEEF:TIJD LP, an album that explores themes of time, struggle, and meaning. The project launched with a unique dinner concert inside Rotterdam’s Laurenskerk – and now, MAIN brings that same energy to LantarenVenster.
