STROUFFE wasn't born from a plan, but from a feeling. Saxophonist Jesse Schilderink gathered a group of musicians for a casual hip hop gig on the beach, along with a few rappers. But when they started playing, something happened. The vibe was right, the groove was solid, and from that spontaneous session, a band was born: STROUFFE.

STROUFFE creates groovy music with influences from jazz and hip-hop, placing improvisation at its core. The compositions arise on the spot, in the moment, impulsively and purely. Nothing is set in stone. The bigger, the better. The crazier, the more fun. STROUFFE never holds back, bringing the house down every time. One of the final BIRDsessions before the summer break!
