BIRD is heading to The Hague for the launch of Dune Sessions: a brand-new monthly jam session at Paard, in collaboration with the Royal Conservatoire and OSHI.

For this grand opening, we're joining forces with House of Knowledge and the incredible Peter Somuah as bandleader. Peter, winner of an Edison Jazz Award, fuses jazz, funk, soul, and traditional Ghanaian rhythms into a powerful, immersive sound.

Opening the night: The Tonal Few, an international quartet from the Royal Conservatoire (vibraphone, drums, bass, sax), pushing the edges of modern jazz. Afterwards, Tasha Slagtand (House of Knowledge) will lead the jam session. Musicians: bring your instruments — the stage is open!

Dune Sessions is a new home for The Hague’s vibrant jazz, soul, R&B, and hip-hop scene. Expect spontaneous energy, next-level improvisation, and a celebration of live music and community.
