At the end of a year filled with shared grooves, new friendships, and countless Wednesday nights of improvisation, we come together for Another Life (D'Angelo). A night built around two things that define these sessions; honoring the music that inspires us, and creating something new together.

We start the evening by bringing a tribute to the music that has shaped so many of our conversations, influences, and jams throughout the year. D’Angelo’s sound; raw, spiritual, intimate, and deeply rhythmic, has always belonged to the people. His records like Voodoo and Black Messiah didn’t just shift the direction of R&B; they created spaces where musicians could stretch, experiment, and find each other.

After the tribute, the night opens up into the final jam session of the year. Musicians who’ve been with us all season, newcomers, familiar faces, and first-timers, everyone is invited to share the stage.

And of course, we close the season by celebrating Thijmen Molema, our weekly session leader, who has held the space for countless improvisations, experiments, and memories.
