When North Sea Jazz plays its final notes, the real night shift begins at Boogieball. For sixteen editions, this has been the place where the festival’s energy refuses to fade. On Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12, BIRD once again transforms into a buzzing afterparty, where world-class musicians might spontaneously join a jam session or jump behind the decks for a surprise DJ set. Expect the unexpected,past editions have seen the likes of Usher, Macy Gray, Mos Def, Anderson .Paak, Bootsy Collins, Roy Hargrove, Janelle Monáe, and Questlove making late-night appearances after their shows at Ahoy.

This year’s lineup is already stacked, featuring Joe Armon-Jones, Ghost-Note, Bnnyhunna, Deborah Slijkhuis, Peter Somuah, and Junya. Two nights where top-tier jazz, soul, and hip-hop artists take center stage, with an open jam session as the beating heart of the night.
